To get the best results while taking Nature’s Trilogy Black Seed Oil we encourage you to try a few healthy lifestyle changes in addition to the black seed oil. We have compiled a list of some of our favorite healthy lifestyle options. Whenever you start a new diet or exercise program it’s always a good idea to have a conversation with your physician to make sure the plan will work best for your individual goals and starting point.
Intermittent Fasting
There are a lot of types of intermittent fasting. Work with your physician or dietician to find the right intermittent fasting for your goals. During a fasting you eat either very little or nothing at all. The 16/8 method is one of the more popular fasting options, also called the Leangains protocol. Typically you skip breakfast and restrict your daily eating period to 8 hours, such as 11–7 p.m. Then you fast for 16 hours in between.
Keto Diets
The ketogenic diet is a high-fat, adequate-protein, low-carbohydrate diet. This type of diet forces the body to burn fats rather than carbohydrates. Sustaining for a long period of time on this type of diet can have adverse effects on the body, a rotation every 6 weeks with keto and intermittent fasting is a preferred method.
HIIT Workouts

High Intensity Interval Training, is a type of workout that alternates between intense bursts of activity and fixed periods of less-intense activity like a short-term rest. These workouts help you burn a lot of calories in a short amount of time. HIIT will raise your metabolic rate for hours after workout, can help improve oxygen consumption, can help reduce heart rate and blood pressure, and can help you lose that fat and aid in weight loss.
Cardio Workouts

Aerobic or endurance exercise, cardiovascular exercise is any type of vigorous activity that increases heart rate and respiration, while raising oxygen and blood flow throughout the body using large muscle groups with repetitive and rhythmical motions. Cardio activity challenges your body internally to help improve heart, lung, and circulatory system functions. Cardio has been shows to improve heart health, mental health, mood, sleep, boost metabolism, and weight loss. Types of cardio that range from High-Impact, to Low-Impact, to No-Impact. Such as a brisk walk, jogging, running, jumping rope, burpees, swimming, cycling, dancing, boxing/kick boxing, cross country skiing, rowing, stair climbing, in-line skating, martial arts, golfing, hiking, HITT workouts, and circuit training.
Strength Training Workouts

Also called weight training or resistance training, helps make you stronger while building muscle endurance. There are different types of strength training, using your own body weight, free weights – dumbbells or barbells, resistance bands – workout bands, and resistance machines – cable machines, single-exercise machines, or multi-gym systems. Strength training may help build lean muscle mass, reduce body fat, burn more calories, boost metabolism, increase bone density while improving bone health, gain flexibility and improve range of motion, strengthen brain health and cognitive functions, improve posture – balance – stability, raise energy levels, and improve overall mood and sense of well-being.
When starting a new healthy lifestyle whether a new diet or fitness program it’s always important to have a conversation with your physician to make sure it is the right plan for you. Sometimes monitoring is the best way to ensure your health safety comes first.
